Bill LiesegangAshburn Miller (band Orgy)

Products: XY MIDIpad mini
Opinion: I couldn't be more pleased. I'm currently additionally playing a Misa Digital Kitara with Orgy because I have just never been satisfied with boundaries and always have to see what's around the corner. But now I have already in a few minutes incorporated a lot of the triggering and synth playing while still keeping the guitar on. XY MIDIpad mini is well put together and works flawlessly.
Bio: Ashburn grew up in North Carolina and after high school he and childhood friend, Carlton, moved to Los Angeles to pursue the dream. Eventually after many projects together and separately they landed in the band Deadsy - Ashburn on bass and Carlton guitar/ztar. Deadsy toured extensively including tours with Korn, Taproot, Mindless Self Indulgence and many others. After stepping away from playing the past few years to focus on recording and producing in the studio, the opportunity came up to join up with Jay Gordon and put Orgy back on the road. It's been a blast getting back into playing again and the rest of the guys are amazing. See you on the road!

Products: XY MIDIpad
Opinion: The XY pad is a fulfilment of a dream, sitting next to the strings on my guitar!
I initially imagined building a small keyboard into the guitar, but the XY pad came along and it does much more!
I always wanted to play MIDI drones simultaneously whilst soloing, or ambient chordal work. Also when I use the XY to control FX patches it is great for speeding up a leslie rotor effect or echo feedback. It's much more controllable than on a midi foot pedal and with time, becomes part of your guitar technique.
Additionally, I have sampled some licks that I use regularly and trigger them with the XY pad so I can have natural guitar harmonies (at the moment with Logic 9 and a Mac, but would like to add a more portable solution soon). Unlike the many Muse fans I am not using it with a Kaoss Pad or Whammy pedal. I use 2 older Eventide harmonizers (H3000SE and the bigger DSP 4000). These studio harmonizers/multi FX are what you use for intelligent harmonies. I hopefully will go beyond that and trigger harmonies that are un-intelligent as well. The XY pad is definitely out of this world!
Bio: London based session guitar player, in house guitar player for top producer, Trevor Horn. Played with Nina Hagen (well known German Diva) as a touring/recording guitarist for 20 years, also played with Jack Bruce (Cream), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), John Wetton Band (King Crimson, Asia), recorded on over 100 albums and hit singles inc. Rod Stewart, Transvision Vamp, Level 42, Kingdom Come, Eddie Mitchell with Gary Moore's band in France. He has recorded 2 solo albums: 'NO STRINGS ATTACHED' with Glenn Hughes and John Wetton, and 'Visual Surveillance of Atrocities' with Doogie White and drummer Thomas Lang, best drummer in the world (VSE), available on iTunes.

Products: XY MIDIpad
Opinion: To let you know the conclusion first, XY MIDIpad is beyond awesome. It lets you do things that other guitarists can't do. It expands the limitations of your guitar. I, as many MUSE fans do, primarily use it with Korg Kaoss Pad 2 and Digitech Whammy. There is nothing difficult about the XY MIDIpad. You simply plug in your MIDI cable and you are good to play. If you are not a MUSE fan, you can still use this to control the parameters on DAW such as Cubase. Unlike other XY MIDI controllers available on the internet, this is the most customizable product. You could select the color of your hold switch LED and the color of your frame. I am very satisfied with AmpTone Lab's quality and devotion put into making this product. I highly recommend XY MIDIpad to you guys out there. You've got my words.
Bio: Guitarist from Seoul, South Korea. Guitarist and Leader of the band M∞SE. Studying Electrical Engineering at Purdue University.

Products: XY MIDIpad
Opinion: XY MIDIpad is the best option out there for innovative musicians who are inspired by groundbreaking guitarists like Matt Bellamy from Muse. AmpTone Lab is providing an entirely new musical palette for artists who want to take their sound further that just typical clean, distortion and common guitar effects. Their product is of the highest quality and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who's interested in modifying their guitar with an XY MIDI pad.
Bio: Eli Grey has been a nation touring musician for many years. He is currently the guitarist for Sister Soleil, Controlled by Lights and The Attraction. He was previously a member of the Gelheads and Best Days Behind. Sister Soleil was formerly signed to Universal records. They have recently reformed with original members Stella Katsoudas, Grey Parker, and new additions, Eli Grey and Peter Bisinov. The Attraction had a single on Chicago Modern Rock Radio Station Q101 and their song "The Bleeding" was included in Q101's Local 101 Volume 3 CD. The Attraction was hand picked open up for acts such as Scott Ian (Anthrax, The Damned Things) and Anberlin. The Gelheads were a nationally touring act who attracted attention from the Major labels and performed showcases in Los Angeles and Detroit for many prominent A&R people. Best Days Behind played shows with and toured the entire country with bands like Soul Asylum, Hit the Lights, Plain White T's, The Academy is..., and Punchline.
